Company Private SPiiPlus Overview Types of Products (1) The SPiiPlus Product Tree The SPiiPlus Series The SPiiPlus Series SPiiPlus PCI Controller SPiiPlus PCI Controllers There are three members to the SPiiPlus PCI family of controllers: SPiiPlus PCI : Multi-axis, high performance motion controller for demanding applications SPiiPlus PCI-LT : Multi-axis, high performance motion controller that requires multi-axis synchronization with emphasize on low cost SPiiPlus PCI-ST : High performance motion controller for two or four stepper axes only Usually the SPiiPlus PCI requires use of a breakout board for wiring SPiiPlus PCI - Hardware Overview 2-axis, 4-axis, 6-axis and 8-axis models: All axes can be DC brush, DC brushless (AC Servo) or Nanomotion Piezo-ceramic motors. Sinusoidal commutation support for brushless motors. Up to half of the axes can be stepper motors. Feedback Options: Up to eight digital encoders: ABI, UP-DN, CLK-DIR. Up to 20MHz counts/sec. Up to eight analog encoders (optional): Up to 8 on-board SIN COS encoder multipliers x4 – x65,536. Up to 250kHz. Differential, RS-485 type inputs. Encoder loss detection.  Digital I/O: Up to 12 fast differential, RS-485, digital outputs. PEG support. Up to 8 fast differential, RS-485, digital inputs. MARK support. Limit switches, drive fault, drive enable, E-Stop. SPiiPlus PCI - Hardware Overview Analog I/O: Up to 16 analog outputs: +/-10Vdc, 16-bit resolution. Used for drive commands and for general purposes. Up to 16 analog inputs: 1V ptp,14-bit resolution. Used for SIN COS encoder feedback and for general purposes.
