Chrysler Group LLC Document Number: MS-12025 Material Standard Date Published: 2014-03-06 Category Code: T-5 Change Level: A EASL Requirement: Yes Restricted: No TAPE - ELECTRICAL APPLICATIONS – HIGH TEMPERATURE BUNDLING*** TYPE DESCRIPTION TEMPERATURE RANGE Type A Uncoated, self-adhering -40°C(-40°F) - 105°C(221°F) Type B Coated with adhesive, matte finish -25°C(-13°F) - 105°C(221°F) Type C Coated with adhesive, matte finish -40°C(-40°F) - 125°C(257°F) 1.0 GENERAL 1.1 Purpose This standard presents the requirements of high temperature film tapes for use in electrical wiring applications primarily for wiring containment. 1.2 Coverage of this Standard Type A tapes shall be uncoated, self-adhering and glossy or matte finished appearance, and designated as MS-12025-A-G (glossy) or as MS-12025-A-M (matte). Type A tapes are intended for bundling PVC o wires and for applications on convolute, functional from -40°C (-40°F) to 105°C (221 F). Type B tapes shall be coated with an acrylic adhesive and have a matte finish and designated as MS- 12025-B-M. Type B tapes are intended for bundling PVC wires and for applications on convolute, o functional from -25°C (-13°F) to 105°C (221 F). Type C tapes shall be coated with an acrylic adhesive and have a matte finish and designated as MS- 12025-C-M
