Step2 Warming up Show some pictures on the screen. What has happened in each picture? Let students discuss what kind of first aid should be given in the above situations? Step3 Pre-reading Ask students to look at the picture on page33 and answer the questions What has happened to the little girl? What kind of first aid would you perform in this situation. Did anyone perform first aid? What did he/she do? Let students read the title of the text and the headings within it and then predict what the passage may be about.
