To develop the students’ abilities of communication. It’s a great pity. 重点难点： 1.To learn specific characteristics, appearance, abilities, eating habits of animals. 2.To express opinions about protecting wild animals. 教学过程： Step1:Revision Get the students to talk about what they like about tigers and wolves. Step2:Presentation (Integrated skills A) 1.Invite students to talk about what they like about tigers and wolves. Brainstorm any information and general knowledge about the two animals. 2.Ask students to study the two fact sheets in paris.Check the meaning of some new words. Step3.Listening and answearing. Help students focus on the general context by asking questions they may be able to anwer while listening for the first time. Play the record for thr third time for students to find out the missing facts in the fact sheets. Step 4:Consolidation Ask students to read the letter in A2 in pairs and discuss any words they do not understand. Ask some students to read the letter aloud. Step 5.Presentation(Interegrated skills) Ask students to practice the conversation in pairs and then change roles. Identify any words or phrases they do not know. Ask students to make up their own conversation using information from the fact sheets. Step6: Practice Get the students to read the dialogue in pairs. Then invite some pairs to act out.
