What’s the temperature? 询问并能正确回答室温、体温、物体的温度。 3、学生能够根据天气选择正确的活动,激发和培养学生运用英语交流的能力,并培养学生的环保意识。 教学重难点 熟练掌握询问温度的用语“What’s the temperature?” 和询问某人的体温的句型 “What’s your temperature?” 及其答语。 能在真实语境中应用句型进行对话。 教学准备 第9课录音、温度计、水 教学过程 Step 1. Class Opening and Review (5min) Teacher asks “ How are you? How’s the weather today?” to review the expressions about weather. Ss talk with the teacher freely. Ask the students to sing the weather song with the CAI together. 【设计意图:通过复习天气的表达方法,唱有关天气歌曲,激发学生的英语学习兴趣。】 T: (Show the pictures about Datou and leads to “temperature”.) The weather is getting colder and colder. Actually we are talking about temperature. 【设计意图:与学生共同练习,把天气和气温联系在一起】 Step 2. Presentation and Practice (10min) 1. The teacher shows a glass of water and let the students guess the temperature. Students can touch the water and guess. Then the teacher checks the temperature with a thermometer. Teacher checks the temperature of hot water and let the students try again. Repeat several times. 【设计意图:先让学生初步感知水的温度,再用温度计进行测量,学生在感受中体会科学知识。】 2. Guess what’s the temperature of these? Show the picture of eggs, fish, penguin, etc. Ss think and answer. (Its _____ degrees.) Teacher shows the correct degrees. Teacher shows the thermometer and let the Ss know one degree and ten degrees below zero. Teacher shows the thermometer and act. (leads to ill) Step 3. Production(20min) 1. T: We know a lot about temperature. Do you know what’s the temperature of a chicken? Let’s look at the book. a. Listen the first time and choose. b. Read the second time and find out the temperature of a healthy chicken, a healthy person and the hot water. Answer the question. What’s the chicken’s temperature? Is the chicken ill?
