PAGE PAGE 21 《迦因小传》两种译本对比——从文化的角度看翻译中的归化现象 摘要：《迦因小说》是一部言情小说，清朝末年包天笑和林纾先后翻译该小说。两个译本曾引起一阵骚动，时代不同人们对两种译本看法也在改变。本文通过两个译文实例对比分析归化这一文化处理策略的运用所折射的文化内涵，论述翻译与文化的关系。文章从文化的角度看翻译，着重归化手段的研究。以此希望在异化手法普遍盛行的当下能激起人们对于归化的重视。异化固然有益，归化也不容忽视。 关键词：《迦因小传》；归化；包天笑；林纾；文化 Comparison Between Two Translation Versions of Joan Haste -Domestication in Translation from Cultural View Abstract:Joan Haste is a romantic novel, having been translated into Chinese in the late Qing Dynasty by Bao Tianxiao and Lin Shu successively. The two translation version have caused a ruckus while people’s view on them changed as times is changing. This paper analysis how domestication, as a cultural strategy, reflects cultural implication with examples of the two versions, discussing the relation between culture and translation. From a perspective of culture, this article emphasizes on domestication to evoke scholars’ attention since foreignization is so popular nowadays.
