学情分析
The students are more interested in learning English. They are active and lively in class. Whafs more, most of them can finish their homework forwardly.
Though the students do better than before, their levels are different, Some of them are too weak in English. Its more difficult for teachers to keep a watchful eye on everyone.
Anyway, Ill try to motivate the students and then teach them, try to help them solve any problems. So, its important to encourage the top students to make some sentences and recite the whole conversation.

IL To master the sentences:
Is life today better or worse than it was 50 years ago?
We are better at preventing illness.
People dont eat as well as in the past.
No one says they have too much free time.
Ability: To Summarize and consolidate the Present perfect passive voice and modal verb passive voice.
moral objectives and value:
Arouse the students to treasure the life they have today. Encourage them todo something that they can do. They should have confidence on themselves.教学过程
Teaching steps:
I. Listen and read. (Activities 3 5)
Listen to the recording and answer the questions. Ask the students to answer the questions individually, then check with a partner. Call back the answers from the whole class. Show the answers in the end.
IL Explain the conversation and summarize the usage of the Present perfect passive voice and modal verb passive voice.
Read the conversation after the recording.
Do some exercises in class
Homework for today.
Write a composition about the life in the past and at present.
Recite the key sentences.
