例如： We are pleased to advise you that your order N0.105 has been dispatched in accordance with your instruction. 我们高兴地通知你们：第105号订单货物已遵照你方指示运出。 另外，多用由here，there和where加上after，at ，by，from，in，of，to，under，upon，with等介词共同构成的副词，如hereafter，hereby，thereby，whereas，whereby等。由于其带有浓厚的法律语体和正式语体色彩。因而常出现在英语商务信函中，以显示其行文的严肃性和法律意味。 此外，这些古体词也可以避免表达上不必要的重复，从而使语言更加简练。 例如： In compliance with the request in your letter dated March 7, we have much pleasure in sending you herewith our pro forma invoice in quadruplicate. 译文：应贵方3月7日来函要求，特此随函附寄形式发票一式四份。 二、英语商务信函的篇章结构特征 英语商务信函往往强调一事一信，以免造成混乱，而且还可避免造成耽搁，便于对方答复，在特殊情况下，如确有必要把不同性质的几个问题在同一封信函中提出，最好加上标题，且应坚持一个段落解决一个问题的原则。 一般的信函包括三个部分：开头语、正文以及结束语。 1．直接式结构 对于传递令人满意或中性信息的信函，一般采用“直接式结构”(direct approach)。 即把令人满意或中性的信息置于信首，然后做出必要的解释，最后用客气礼貌语言表示希望或感谢。 例如： Dear Mr. Smith: Thank you for your letter of the 20th of this month. We shall be glad to enter into business relations with your company. In compliance with your request, we are sending you, under separate cover, our latest catalogue and pricelist covering our export range.
