Time 构成的短语和句型 * 一、表示“这是某人第一/二/……次做某事” ①This/It is the first/second ...time that＋现在完成时 ②That/It was the first/second ...time that＋过去完成时 This is the first time that I have attended the class. It was the third time that he had broken his promise. It is the first time that I have been the West of China. * 二、There was a time when.... 曾经有一段......时间 There is a time when she is easy to get angry (一般现在时) There was a time when we had no flat of our own and we had to live in the college dormitory.（一般过去时） There was a time when I was very lonely. There was a time when we lived a hard life. * 三、It is (high) time+ that 从句（正是做-----的时候） It is time that the children went to bed. It is high time that the children should go to bed. 从句中谓语要用过去式或用should加动词原形，但should不可省略。 It is high time that such practices were ended. It is high time that they were taught a lesson. 注：It?is?time?for?sth. It?is?time?to?do?sth. It?is?time?for?sb?to?do?sth. * 四、by the time +句子，+主句 ①引导一个时间状语从句，表示“到……的时候”主句则表示在此时间之前某个事件已完成。 1.By the time l got to the station，the train had already gone。 2.By the time l got home， they had already left。 3.By the time I get home，they will have left ②当从句用过去时态时，主句通常用过去完成时 当从句用一般现在时时，主句通常用将来完成时。 * 五、the first/ second/ .... time+句子，主句。 引导时间状语从句，表“当第.....次做……时” I thought her nice and honest the first time I met her.?
