Methods Sixty elder patients with hyperteion， 60 patients with diabetes mellitus and 60 patients with osteoporosis from June 2013 to June 2016 in the Third People′s Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region were chosen as the research objectives， and they were set as the hyperteion group， diabetes mellitus group，and osteoporosis group， respectively； and 50 cases health elder people were chosen as control group. The free fatty acids （FFA）， fasting blood glucose （FBG）， FI， HOMA-IR and 25-hydroxy vitamin D of research objectives in each groups were detected and compared. Results The serum FFA， FBG and HOMA-IR level of the hyperteion group and diabetes mellitus group were obviously higher than the controlled group （P ）； the 25-hydroxy vitamin D level of the osteoporosis group was markedly lower than the control group （P ）. Conclusion The elderly patients with hyperteion may be associated with elevated levels of free fatty acids， while the elderly patients with diabetes are often accompanied by obvious iulin resistance and osteoporosis in elderly patients often associated with low level of 25 hydroxyl vitamin D.
