Methods A total of 85 patients with inguinal hernia treated in our hospital from August 2012 to September 2015 were selected and randomly divided into study group and control group. Patients in the control group were given conventional hernia repair， and those in the study group were given teion-free hernia repair. Operation condictio（operation time， time of antibiotic application， time of postoperative pain， time to off-bed activities， and hospital stay） and incidence of complicatio（hematoma of scrotum， incision infection， retention of urine， and pain in the inguinal region） were observed. Results The operation time， time of antibiotic application， time of postoperative pain， time to off-bed activities， and hospital stay were all significantly shorter in the study group than in the control group， the difference was significant （P）. The incidence rates of retention of urine， pain in the inguinal region， and overall complicatio were significantly lower in the study group than in the control group， the difference was significant（P）. Conclusion Teion-free hernia repair has better effect than conventional hernia repair in treatment of inguinal hernia， with shorter operation time， faster postoperative recovery， lower incidence of complicatio， and higher clinical value。 [Key words] Teion-free hernia repair； Conventional hernia repair； Inguinal hernia； Complicatio腹股沟疝即“疝气”，发病因素复杂，及时进行手术修补即可治愈，治疗不及时容易引发严重并发症。传统疝修补术因未使用补片而影响机体腹部正常组织解剖结构，术后修补部位周围组织容易存在张力，效果不能令人满意。无张力疝气修补术的出现很好的解决了上述问题，是目前临床应用较为广泛的一种术式。本文对比研究
