OpEx Quality Assurance Activity Calendar Improving Quality Assurance 365 days per year February 2010 – Week 1 2 2nd February Introduce the “OpEx Quality Assurance Activity Calendar” at your daily hotel operations meeting. Key Points : Calendar designed to share uncomplicated daily activities to improve Quality Assurance Performance. These activities will help your hotel : Discover opportunities for improvement Test that critical standards are in place (red flags, level 1) Increase knowledge of QA programs Create 365 day QA focus Daily activity should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete!!! 3rd February Confirm that all key department heads can log on to GSI website via SW1 or Tip : ask each department head to print “GSI Snapshot “ from the Dashboard menu and bring to next Operations Meeting 4th February Conduct test calls from outside lines for the following level 1 standard – The property operator confirms the guests name prior to transferring calls to the guestroom. The operator does not transfer calls to guestrooms unless the caller knows the name of the guest. 5th February Commence planning for your next fire drill – Starwood Emergency Crisis Management Preparation Manual states “Fire drills must be conducted at least once each quarter on each shift or as required by local/state regulations.
