To distinguish the differences among simple present tense, simple past tense and present perfect tense.
【Teaching Procedures ]Step 1 Warming up
Review the new words of Unitl.
Show the pictures of cartoons and introduce the names. And ask the students their feelings about them by “What do you think of them T In that way , students can use some adjectives to describe and feel the different types of cartoons.
Have a free talk with their group member using these questions: (1) What kind of cartoons do you like? (2) What cartoons do you think are funny? (3) Do cartoon always end in a happy way?
Step 2 Listening PracticeListen to Tony and Bettys conversation about cartoons and finish the following questions. (Check the answers)
