People’s reactions to such difficulties are called culture shock. To deal with culture shock, it does not work to complain. Rather a positive attitude, determination, and flexibility will help. It will be more helpful if people keep themselves busy, make friends, do something enjoyable, have confidence in their own language abilities, and be flexible. ; Until a relatively short time ago, traveling abroad was limited to well-to-do tourists and prosperous businesspeople.
