It is (about / high) time (that) sb. did ... 某人该干…了e.g. I think it’s time you had a word with him. It’s about time we updated our software. It’s time the kids were in bed. It’s time we were leaving.提示动词时态“后推”。提示该结构不能用于表达与过去事实相反的假设。2. I would rather / sooner (that) sb. did / had done ... 我宁愿…（要是…就好了）/ 我宁愿…当时…（要是…当时…就好了）e.g. I’d rather you went home now. （表现在） Don’t come tomorrow. I’d rather you came next weekend. （表将来） She got drunk last night. I’d rather she hadn’t drunk so much. （表过去）?3.
