If selling by samples, we offer according to quality of the samples that customer agreed before; If selling by words, we offer according to goods’ specification, grade, standard and name of origin, and so on. Price: On certain cost and profit rate, we offer goods’ price under FOB, CIF, CFR and FOB CIF CFR including commission. Under FOB: buyer charge shipment and insurance, the responsibility and risk of seller are least. Under CFR: seller charge shipment, the responsibility and risk of seller are big than FOB. Under CIF: seller charge shipment and insurance, the responsibility and risk of seller are biggest. Packing: Here we mainly express outer packing of cargo, total packing number and packing number in each contain. Sailing date: Here sailing date actually refers to time of preparing goods. Generally, the seller will not produce goods, without signing the contract or receiving the customer’s L/C, which will prevent loss when the customer changes his idea. For example: “shipment within 30 days after receive the relative L/C”, here 30 days is time for preparing goods. Terms of Payment What terms and methods of payment the buyer choose, the place and time of payment, thus all relate to the profit of two parts directly. Terms of payment has means and method of payment. Term of validity of offer An effective offer needs the will of make the contract. Express by way of term of validity of offer usually, it is offer time limit, and effective time limit that people accept. The regulation of the term of validity will be confirmed rationally according to the characteristic of the goods and adoption communication way. Adopt methods of clear closing date in term of validity. But the term of validity does not form the essential condition of offer, if has not stipulated the term of validity clearly in offer, should accept within rational time, otherwise invalid. rational time needs to depend on concrete conditions of the trade.
