Students should not only learn to dial the emergency telephone in China, but also learn to dial the emergency telephone in foreign countries in English, so as to be prepared for the future exposure to foreign language environment. This section helps students to know the emergency numbers in some countries and what to do when calling the emergency number. Through the learning of this section, students can accumulate common expressions and sentence patterns in the context, understand the first aid instructions of the operator, and use the language they have learned to simulate making an emergency call with their partners. 教学目标与核心素养 Knowledge objectives: To help students to accumulate common expressions and sentence patterns in the context.
