1. Thomas Edison
T: Thomas Edison invented over 1,000 things in his life. All these things were his inventions. That means he created over 1,000 inventions. He is really a great inventor.
2. William Shakespeare
T: This is a great writer of English literature. The novel The Merchant of Venice was written by him. Do you who he is?
(Use the same way to introduce the other four great people: Nelson Mandela, Qian Xuesen, Christopher Columbus, and Peter Tchaikovsky.)
