Unit 10 Great inventions 教学设计
教学目标:
1、通过look and learn栏目,帮助学生学习本单元的生词。
2、通过Listen and say关于发明的对话引入生词,学习如何介绍发明及其功能。
重点难点:
1、能掌握单词 invention, watch, anywhere, travel, invent, myself
2、会运用句型
People can tell the time anywhere.
What are you going to invent?
I am going to invent a flying bike.
教学方法: 任务教学法、情景教学法。
教学过程:
Pre-task preparations
Greetings
T : Hello , boys and girls .
Ss: … …
Lead in
1) Show some pictures about great inventors . (ask students : )
T : Do you know these people ?
T : They are Bell , Edison , Cailun . “。。。发明了。。。”They lived in different ages . They were from different countries . But they all were inventors .
T: Do you know inventor ?
Ss: 发明家
T ;read after me “inventor ”
出示句子:
They are great inventors , they invented a lot of great inventions .
T :翻译。 Read after me “invent” , “invention” (板书)
2) Show some pictures about great inventions .
T: They invented a lot of inventions . Look at these pictures , What are they ?

T: Yes , these are the great inventions that bring people a better life .
(把great inventions 板书,读单词)
3) T:Do you know any great inventions in the world ?
T : I use the telephone every day . So I think the telephone is a great invention.

出示发明创造的图片,引导学生看图说出单词,最后教师总结,出示课题Great inventions, 教学单词invention。

1、播放listen and say的录音,让学生找出对话中提到的几个发明。 T: The children in Ms Guo’s class are talking about inventions. Listen to the dialogue and name the inventions they talk about.
Ss: Paper, the watch…
2、出示对话中提到的四个发明局部图片,让学生猜并说出是什么物品,并且学习新句型Paper is a great invention,并且板书句型。
T: (show part of the picture of a paper) What is this invention?
