Emily Dickinson 壹The style of writing目贰Social EvaluationCONTENTS叁录肆IntroductionMasterpieces春路雨添花花动一山春色Introduction Emily Dickinson (1830 -- 1886)was an American poet. Born into a lawyers family. When she was teenager, her life was monotonous and peaceful with formal religious education. She is considered one of the forerunners of modernist poetry in the 20th century. Her father was the towns chief solicitor, a conservative man. As a result of her orthodox religious upbringing, Dickinsons teenage years were quiet and monotonous. She seldom went out and traveled only once. Emily Dickinson had spent most of her life living in the brick house where she was born. Emilys favorite part of the house is the greenhouse on the east side, where she grows many plants that bloom in winter, and on a small desk by the window, she writes a lot of poems and lives a lonely and secluded life. She thought the world was so noisy and restless that she wanted to leave it and retreat to the little world she had built with her soul.Emily Dickinson Two people who influenced Dickinsons life during her youth were Nad Humphrey, and Benminger Newton, a young lawyer at her fathers law firm. Newtons constant instructions on what to read and how to read, and the beauty of nature in its harmony and wholeness. Newton also often preached to her the religious ideas of the Calvinists, and made her accept the Calvinist idea of inner sight and of the beauty of nature and the coldness of the world. These ideas became the creeds of her life and were later vividly reflected in all her poems.Emily Dickinson春路雨添花花动一山春色masterpiecesThe masterpieces of DickinsonBecause I could not stop for Death 《因为我不能停下脚步等待死亡》、I heard a Fly buzz-when I died 《当我死时传来一只苍蝇的嗡嗡声》、This is My Letter to the World 《这是我给世界的信》、Died for Beauty but was scarce 《我为美而死》、Wild Nights-Wild Nights 《狂野的夜》、That I Did Always Love《我一直在爱》、I had a guinea golden 《我有一枚金几尼》、Hope 《希望》等。Im NobodyIm nobody!
