Unit 1 Knowing me,knowing you Using Language;定义:过去分词是非谓语动词的一种形式, 表示完成和 被动的动作。它在句中可充当状语、定语、表语 和补语。 用法:过去分词作状语时, 其逻辑主语是主句的主语, 且与主语之间存在着被动关系。过去分词作状语 可表时间、原因、让步、 结果、条件、方式或伴 随等。;V-ed作状语;V-ed 在句中可充当时间、原因、条件、让步状语,相当于一个状从;;;;;;可在过去分词前加上连词when, while, until等,说明动作发生的时间。;② 表示原因,相当于一个原因状语从句。;③ 表示条件,相当于一个条件状语从句。;④ 表示让步,相当于一个though / although引导的 让步状语从句。;⑤表示方式或伴随。;⑥ 表结果(相当于结果状语从句);If we are given another time, we will get better grades.;过去分词作状语时,其前面可以带有相应的连词: when, though, although, as if, as though, if, unless, until, once等。 ;过去分词所表示的动作,必须是逻辑主语所承受的和完成的动作。;Following the old man, we went upstairs. =We followed the old man and went upstairs.
