Yang has received many honors, both at home and abroad, including the UNESCO Medal on Space Science.;Chinas first female astronaut: Liu Yang, in 2012;In 1969, Neil Armstrong delivered his famous words from the Moon, “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” The dream of conquering the sky in flight goes back thousands of years in China. By this time, China had already been working on its first manned spacecraft research for two years. That spacecraft was called Shuguang – or first light of dawn. From Shuguang to Tiangong, what has China experienced in its space exploration program? ;Shortly after the return of the three Shenzhou-12 astronauts and the launch of a cargo mission half a month ago, the Shenzhou-13 manned spaceship is ready for launch. All of these have shown Chinas efforts and achievements in the field of space exploration.;What do you think astronauts on a space station do every day?;I think daily life on a space station is similar to that on the Earth, except that astronauts have to adapt to doing everything in smaller spaces and in an environment that is weightless and also dangerous. Just like on the Earth, their days would include sleeping, eating, working, exercising and relaxing.
