Step 2.Presentation 1. Hold up a clock and say: What’s the time? (What time is it?)Help the class to answer: It’s seven thirty. 2. Present 6:50,7:00,7:15 in the same way。 3. As well,explain that in 6:50,the 6 refers to the hour and 50 refers to the minutes after the hour. 4. Give more examples: 12:30,6:15,4:40,4:45,2:50,2:00,etc Step 3 Practice 1. Point to any time and ask the students to say them our one by one。 2. Get several students to hold up their clocks and ask and answer。 A:What time is it? B:It’s twelve thirty.etc Step 4.Presentation 1. Teach some important phrases by doing the actions. Point to the clock and say: Oh,it’s six fifty.I must get up.
