Good morning, honorable judges. Today I feel very happy to have the chance to municate with you about the teaching plan of Unit 1 Great explorations Reading (II). I will divide the instructions into seven parts. They are Teaching Material Analysis, Teaching Aims, Teaching Emphasis, Teaching Difficulties, Teaching Methods, Teaching Aids and Teaching Procedures.
Part I Teaching Material Analysis
This lesson is a reading material about Great explorations. It is the first topic in module one ‘Explorations and exchanges’. It is focused on Zheng He’s experiences and his explorations. In this unit, you will learn about some famous explorers and their great achievements. And it lays a foundation for the output in main task. Therefore, this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material.
Part 2.Teaching Aims
1. Knowledge Aims:
After the lesson, students should be able to
(1) get the main idea of the text.
(2)talk something about Zheng He’s experiences and his explorations.
(3)retell Zheng He’s experiences and his explorations.
2.Ability Aims:
Get the main idea of the text
3.Emotional Aims:
To learn the great achievement.
Part3. Teaching Emphasis
1.Master the four-skilled new words, phrases and sentences
2.Master the structures and usages of adverbial clauses of
result.
Part4. Teaching Difficulties
Retell the Zheng He’s experiences and his explorations.
Part5. Teaching Methods
Three-stage model, Task-based Language Teaching Method and municative method.
