Name the contents generally included in a diary about festival experiences and analyze the structure and language features of such a diary;
Use similar structures and language to compose a diary about festival experiences;
Express their opinions and feelings accurately so as to establish effective communications;
Review each other’s stories and improve their own with the help of the checklist provided on page nine.

Analyze and use the structure and language features of a diary about festival experiences; write an opening paragraph with detailed information and concise language; write a diary to introduce a personal festival experience logically; express personal feelings and emotions accurately.

Ask students to read the diary on page eight and answer the following questions. In activity one:

What Naadam Festival customs did you learn about?
Collect answers from the class.
