Learn about Automobile Engine. Teaching time: The author will use 4 classes/week to finish this unit. One class for listening and speaking One class for conversation and Text A One class for the detailed study of Text B One class for exercises of text B and the background information of history of automobiles. Warm-up to Unit 2 History of Automobiles. Ask several students to answer the following questions: 1.Are you a car fan? What car brands do you know and which one is your favorite? 2.Do you know how long the automobile history is? And can you make a guess? 3.Can you imagine what the first car in the world was like? 4.How many predecessors in the automobile history can you count, and who are they? 5.Can you predict the outlook of future cars?
