It is really a wonderful film.I liked it and had seen it many times.Theres so much good about this movie. The first time I saw it I watched it solely for plot and I loved it. Now Ive seen it again and watched Peter Weirs filming and timing which is also great. Robin Williams is a terrific actor .The plot is about a number of students who are taught by Williams about life. They are taught how to enjoy themselves. This ends up causing great controversy among the heads of the school. The students are terrific and even the dialogue is great. This is a movie that I think everyone will liked it. It is good in every way. There are certain films that get under your skin, never to come out. They change your life, subtly altering your perceptions of reality, almost always for the better. Im sure Dead Poets Society is one of those few films. It is about education, after seen it, I began to wonder what the typical American liberal arts education will be like. It is sure that all the students around are under great pressure when facing the college entrance exam, the difference lies in what your atitude is .Therefor, when all the students in the film cried out:suck the mellow of life, together with the teacher, a lot of students in my class are deeply shockly. They stayed in that secret cave and read their own poets, enjoying their way of life. Their shadow changed with all their poets, as if demons came and danced with them. They have their own zone in the cave, though small,but beautiful. How sweet!That is exactly the thing all the other teachers in the school can not understand. Of course,it wont happen in China either. I saw the movie back when I was in High School.And after seen it, I feel I changed a bit from then on.
