Thebi-directionalNetworkAudioInterfaceshallprovideinterconnectivitytoMADI-compatibledevices.TheInterfaceshallsupportupto64inputand64outputchannelsofconnectivitybetweenaDantenetworkandMADInetwork.ConnectivityshallincludeMADICoaxialInandOutonBNCconnectors,andMADIOpticalInandOutonSCDuplexmulti-modefiberopticconnectors.ExternalmasterwordclockinandoutshallbeviaBNCconnectors.TheInterfaceshallhaveuser-selectablesampleratesof44.1kHz,48kHz,88.2kHz,96kHz,176.4kHzand192kHz(-4%/-0.1%/+0.1%/+4.167%).

TheNetworkAudioInterfaceshallprovidebothredundantpowerandnetworkconnections,withtheabilitytohaveredundantandswitchednetworkmodestorunaredundantconnectionordaisy-chaindevicestogether.

ThesystemshalluseJetPLLtechnologytominimizeconversionjitter.LEDfrontpanelindicatorsshalldisplaythestatusofPowerandNetworkconnections,SyncLockstatus,SampleRate,CoaxialorOpticalconnectivity,Varispeedmode,andclocksources.TheNetworkAudioInterfaceshallbecontainedina1RUindustrialpackagedesignedforfixedinstallationinengineeredaudioandcommunicationssystems.Dimensionsshallbe482.6x308x44.5mm(19”Wx12.13”Dx1.752”H).Itshallweigh4.32kg(9.52lbs).Maximumpowerconsumptionshallbe30VA.

TheNetworkAudioInterfaceshallutilizetheDanteProtocolfortransportofdigitalaudiosignals.Thesystemshallbecapableoftransportingupto512bidirectionalaudiochannelsoverasingle,standardGigabit(orhigher)Ethernetlink.Softwareshallbeprovidedfortherouting,controlling,andconfiguringtheNetworkAudioInterface.Softwareshallprovideremotecontrolofsamplerate,selectionofpreferredmasterclock,andsamplerateconversion.Ethernetconnectivityshallbethrougharearpanel8p8c/RJ45LANport,whichsupportsEtherCONconnections.

Ethernetcommunicationsshallbeutilizedforsoftware
