ZarinaAbdullah,50,whohasbeenateacherfor27years,wasconfinedtoawheelchairtwoyearsagoafterbothherknees

wereinjuredseriously.“Atfirst,Ifelldownathome,andthathurtmyleftknee.AfterthatIstartedusingawalkingstickto

school,butjustfourmonthslater,Ionceagainfellinfrontoftheclass,whichdamagedmyrightkneethistime,andsince

then,Ihavehadtorelyonawheelchair.Actually,surgerycouldenablemetowalkagain,butontheadviceofmydoctor,Idid

notgoaheadwithitbecausetheriskwastoohigh,asIhavebeensufferingfromkidneydiseaseforthepast15years,and

heartdiseaseforthepast10years,”shesaidwhenmetattheschoolheretoday.
