    manymodelsofControlContractorandControlSeriesloudspeakers.OnMTC-PC2,thewireexitsfrom

    therearofthecover,andonMTC-PC3,thewireexitsfromthesideofthecover.

    ThePanelCoverinstallsovertheexistinginputcup,providesawatertightgland-fittingentrancetosealand

    protectthissectionoftheloudspeakeragainstincursionofwater.Thecovercomesonlyinblack.The

    coversectionispaintable,buttheglandnutisnot.

    IMPORTANT:Inordertosealcorrectly,thecablemustbejacketedexternallywitharound(ornear-

    round)cross-sectionalshapeandtheoutsidediameterofthecableMUSTbebetween0.170inches(4.3

    mm)and0.470inches(11.9mm).Side-by-side“zip”typecablesarenotacceptable.

    InstallationInstructions

    Step1–Removetheexistingfour(4)screwsinthecornersofthespeaker’sexistingterminalcup.

    DISCARDthesefour(4)screws.

    Step2–LoosenthenutontheoutsideofthePanelCover’sglandnut.Runwirethroughthegland

    fitting,asshown.DoNOTtightenthenutontheoutsideofthePanelCoveryet.

    Note:Ifyouareusingtheglandfittingatthesmallerendofitssizerange,itishighly

    recommendedthatyoutightenandloosenthenutafewtimesusingawrench,to

    makeitlessstiff.DoNOTremovetherubberinsert–itisneededforaccomplishing

    aliquid-tightseal.
