TheGeneralElectricCompany(“GE”)iscommittedtounyieldingintegrityandhighstandardsofbusinessconductineverythingwedo,
especiallyinourdealingswithGEsuppliers,contractorsandconsultants(collectively“Suppliers”).GEbasesitsSupplierrelationshipsonlawful,
efficientandfairpractices,andSuppliersmustadheretoapplicablelegalandregulatoryrequirementsintheirbusinessrelationshipsasset
outinthisGEIntegrityGuideforSuppliers,ContractorsandConsultants(the“Guide”)inconnectionwiththeiractivitiesforGE.
Suppliersareresponsibletoensurethattheyandtheiremployees,workers,representatives,suppliersandsubcontractorscomplywiththe
standardsofconductsetoutinthisGuideandinothercontractualobligationstoGE.PleasecontacttheGEmanageryouworkwithorany
GEComplianceResourceifyouhaveanyquestionsaboutthisGuideorthestandardsofbusinessconductthatallGESuppliersmustmeet.
ResponsibilitiesofGESuppliers
You,asaSuppliertoGE,agree:
FairEmploymentPractices:(i)Toobserveapplicablelawsandregulationsgoverningwagesandhours;(ii)toallowworkerstochoosefreely
whethertoorganizeorjoinassociationsforthepurposeofcollectivebargainingasprovidedbylocallaworregulation;and(iii)toprohibit
discrimination,harassmentandretaliation.
Environment,HealthSafety:(i)Tocomplywithapplicableenvironmentallawsandregulations;(ii)toprovideworkersasafeandhealthy
workplace;and(iii)nottoadverselyaffectthelocalcommunity.
HumanRights(i)TorespecthumanrightsofyouremployeesandothersinyourbusinessoperationsandyouractivitiesforGE;(ii)notto
employworkersyoungerthansixteen(16)yearsofageorbelowtheapplicableminimumage,whicheverishigher;(iii)nottouseforced,
prisonorindenturedlabor,orworkerssubjecttoanyform
