Studyingabroadisadreamformanyhighschoolgraduateswhowishtopursuehighereducationinaforeigncountry.However,theprocessofapplyingforandbeingacceptedintoauniversityorcollegeabroadcanbequitechallenging.Therearecertainconditionsandrequirementsthatstudentsmustmeetinordertostudyabroadsuccessfully.

Firstandforemost,highschoolgraduatesmusthaveastrongacademicrecord.MostuniversitiesandcollegesabroadrequireapplicantstohaveahighGPAandgoodstandardizedtestscores,suchastheSATorACT.Studentsshouldalsohavetakenchallengingcoursesinhighschool,suchasAdvancedPlacement(AP)orInternationalBaccalaureate(IB)courses.
