bluecolouring,whichwereneverreproducedinlaterdynasties，”McAteer,an

auctionspecialist,said.

“TheYongleEmperorimprovedtheporcelaintechniquesandelevatedthe

importanceofporcelainfrombeinganordinarybowlintoatrueworkofart.This

smallbowlhasbothpracticalandartisticvalue，”McAteersaid.
