不可否认，平均工作时长较高意味着在同等条件下生产力更强，对经济的发展有促进作用。但科技，管理模式也会大幅度影响产出，所以光凭借工作时长来决定经济发展状况是片面的。相反，在国家的发展中，工作时长越长可能意味着劳动力底下，科技落后等。

但在长时间的工作下，会产生很多负面的影响：

1.由于长时间工作，人们工作压力会日益增加，在压力大的情况下工作效率的质量反而会下降。

2.引发各类健康问题，利于肥胖，抑郁等。长时间的工作而缺乏休息的人容易有各类的精神疾病。久坐工作模式的人会由于缺乏运动而引发肥胖。

3.盲目依赖工作时长来推动经济发展会忽略科技，管理等方面对经济的影响。生产效率与人力，科技，管理模式等密不可分。过分依赖靠工时来提高生产成果是无稽之谈，反而会忽略去改善因素而带来的积极影响。

AnotherandmajordisadvantageImuststateisthatovertimeatworkexhaustsworkers,bringingaboutdamagingimpacts.Forcompanies,thiswearingperiodatdutycangeneratelowerproductivityand,evenworse,morechancesoferrors.Shouldanaccountantmiscalculatedagreatsumofanentry,forexample,theemployerwouldhavetoshouldertheloss.Intermsofthelaborforce,thankstotheendlesstime,peoplehavetotakeittooseriouslyandmakeittheirprimepriority.Consequently,theywillbesufferingfrombothphysicalandmentalproblems,includingobesityanddepression.Moreover,eveniftheyareearningmore,theheavyworkloadisdeprivingthemofsocial
