Procedure:I.Introduction(5-7minutes)-GreetstudentsandwelcomethemtotheEnglishclass.-Reviewpreviouslessonsvocabularyandphrasesrelatedtogreetings.-Showflashcardswithpicturesofpeopleandask,“Whoisthis?”-Askstudentswhattheyknowaboutintroducingthemselves.
II.VocabularyandPhrases(10-15minutes)-IntroducesimpleEnglishphraseslikeMynameis...,Iam...,Iamfrom...,etc.andexplaintheirmeaningsusingtheflashcards.-Presentcommonvocabularywordsrelatedtopersonalinformationsuchasage,gender,nationality,etc.andexplaintheirmeaningsusingpictures,gestures,andexamples.-Encouragestudentstorepeatthewordsandphrasesafteryouandtrysayingthemontheirown.
