Firstly,thedangertohumanlifecannotbeoverstated.Objectsdroppedfromconsiderableheightsacquiretremendousvelocityandimpactuponreachingtheground.Thiscanleadtoseriousinjuries,includingheadtrauma,fractures,andevenfatalities.Childrenandpets,beinglessawareoftheirsurroundingsandslowerinreacting,areparticularlyvulnerable.Incidentsofhigh-altitudelitteringresultingintragicoutcomeshavebeendocumentedglobally,servingasstarkremindersofthelife-threateningconsequencesofsuchirresponsiblebehavior.
