laptops.

TheEuropeanparliamenthasadoptedalawrequiringUSBType-Ctobethemandatorycableforalargenumberofproducts

startingDecember2024.

Thegoalofthislawistolimittonsofwasteandtosimplifythelivesofendusersbyprovidingcompatibilitybetweenchargers,

cablesonthefollowinglistofdevices:mobilephones,tablets,digitalcameramodules,headsets,portablevideogameconsoles,

digitale-readers,portablespeakers,keyboards,mouses,portablenavigationsystemsandin-earheadphones.

In2026,laptopsshouldbeaddedinthislist,andwecanforecastthatthemonitorsareinthisupdatedlist.
