TheDA16200isahighlyintegratedultra-low-powerWi-Fi®systemonachip(SoC),whichcontainsan

802.11b/g/nradio(PHY),abasebandprocessor,amediaaccesscontroller(MAC),on-chipmemory,andahost

networkingapplicationprocessor,allonasinglesilicondie.

TheSoCenablesfulloffloadcapabilities,runningtheentirenetworkingstackonchipsothatnoexternalnetwork

processor,CPU,ormicrocontrollerisrequired,whilemanyotherSoCsoptionallyuseamicrocontroller.

TheDA16200isasynthesisofbreakthroughultra-lowpowertechnologiesthatenablesextremelylowpower

operationintheSoC.TheDA16200shutsdowneverymicroelementofthechipthatisnotinuse,whichallows

anearzerolevelofpowerconsumptionwhennotactivelytransmittingorreceivingdata.Suchlowpower

operationcanextendthebatterylifeuptoayearormoredependingontheapplication.TheDA16200also

enablesultra-lowpowertransmittingandreceivingmodeswhentheSoCneedstobeawaketoexchange

informationwithotherdevices.Advancedalgorithmsenablestayingasleepuntiltheexactmomentrequiredto

wakeuptotransmitorreceive.

TheSoCisbuiltfromthegroundupfortheInternetofThings(IoT)andisidealfordoorlocks,thermostats,

sensors,pettrackers,assettrackers,sprinklersystems,connectedlighting,videocameras,videodoorbells,

wearables,andotherIoTdevices.
