Step1.InstallfreeSpintires™EditorinSteam®andcreateamod

YouneedtoconfigureSpintires™Editorfirst.GotoSettingsPaths.

ConfiguringSpintires™Editor.TextureEditorisaprogramthatwouldautomaticallyopenanytexturefiles

1.Selectpathtoinstalledgame(bydefault“.\Steam\SteamApps\common\Spintires”)–soyouhaveto

havethegameinstalled.

2.Press“InstallGameMedia”–thiscopiesgamefilestolocalSpintires™Editorandallowsittousegame

texturesandmeshes–soyouhavetokeepthegameinstalledwhileyouareusingEditor.Afterthatyou

willhaveaccesstoallin-gameassetsandcanviewthemtobuildyourownmods.Youneedtoreinstall

gamemediaifyouwanttoviewnewassetsafteragameupdate.

ItisalsoadvisedtodownloadandinstallNotepad++forXMLediting.Justfollowthelink“GetNotepad++”

AfterNotepad++isinstalled,press“InstallNotepad++plugins”(4)toinstallSpintires™EditorNotepad++

pluginsandfollowtheinstructions.Asetofusefulfunctionswouldbeavailable,including:

-Quickopenanygamefile(ALT-SHIFT-O)
