Abstract:Anovelmethodofrealizingtheoptimaltransmissionofthe

crank-and-rockermechanismispresented.Theoptimalcombinationdesignis

madebyfindingtherelatedoptimaltransmissionparameters.Thediagramof

theoptimaltransmissionisdrawn.Inthediagram,therelationamongminimum

transmissionangle,thecoefficientoftravelspeedvariation,theoscillatingangle

oftherockerandthelengthofthebiasrshown,conciselo,nvenientlyand

directly.Themethodpossessesthemaincharacteristic.Thatitistoachievethe

optimaltransmissionparametersunderthetransmissionanglebydirectly

choosinginthediagram,accordingtothegivenrequirements.The

characteristithemechanicaltransmissioncanbeimprovedtogainthe

optimaltransmissioneffectbythemethod.Especially,themethodissimpleand

convenientinpracticaluse.

INTRODUCTION

Byconventionalmethodofthecrank-and-rockerdesign,itisverydifficultto

transmission.Thefigure-tabledesignmethodintroducedinthispapercanhelp

achievethisgoal.Withgivenconditions,wecan,byonlyconsultingthedesigning

figuresandtables,gettherelationsbetweeneveryparameterandanotherofthe

designedcrank-and-rockermechanism.Thustheoptimaltransmissioncanbe

realized.

Theconcerneddesigningtheoryandmethod,aswellastherealcasesofits

applicationwillbeintroducedlaterrespectively.
