医院感染--当今世界面临的公共卫生问题HospitalInfection-APublicHealthIssueFacedbytheWorldToday医院感染会延长患者住院时间、增加病死率和患者经济负担，是全球重要公共卫生事件之一。世界卫生组织估计发达国家的医院获得性感染患病率为3.5%~12.0%，发展中国家医院感染患病率可能是欧洲的2倍，美国的3倍。Hospitalacquiredinfectionscanprolongpatientshospitalstay,increasemortalityrates,andincreasetheireconomicburden,makingitoneoftheimportantglobalpublichealthevents.TheWorldHealthOrganizationestimatesthattheprevalenceofhospitalacquiredinfectionsindevelopedcountriesrangesfrom3.5%to12.0%,whiletheprevalenceofhospitalacquiredinfectionsindevelopingcountriesmaybetwicethatofEuropeandthreetimesthatoftheUnitedStates.

例如2018年3月，美国明尼苏达州的一名护士被曝出因来重复使用未消毒的针筒，导致至少161名患者具有被感染艾滋病毒或者病毒性肝炎的风险。2019年4月，南方医科大学顺德医院（以下简称顺德医院）发生一起医院感染暴发事件，导致多名新生儿死亡。Forexample,inMarch2018,anurseinMinnesota,theUnitedStates,wasexposedtoreuseanunsterilizedsyringe,resultinginatleast161patientsatriskofHIVinfectionorviralhepatitis.InApril2019,ahospitalinfectionoutbreakoccurredatShundeHospitalofSouthernMedicalUniversity(hereinafterreferredtoasShundeHospital),resultinginthedeathofmultiplenewborns.
