;一、被动语态主要有以下两种用法：

1.表示主语是动作的承受着，动作执行者一般由by引出。

2.侧重说明主语接受动作，无需或无法知道动作的执行者是谁。

二、主动语态转换成被动语态，注意几种结构不同的转换方式：

1.主语+谓语动词+宾语

这类结构转换成被动语态时，把宾语转换成主语，主语转换成“by+宾语”的短语，谓语动词转换为被动结构。如：

Wecaughtsomefish.→Somefishwascaughtbyus.

2.主语+谓语动词+间接宾语+直接宾语

这类结构转换时，即可将间接宾语转换为主语，也可将直接宾语转换为主语。如：

Mybrothergavemeabook.→Iwasgivenabookbymybrother./Abookwasgiventomebymybrother.;三、某些及物动词很少用于被动语态：

这些动词大多数是“静态动词”，即表示状态而不是动作的动词，如cost,fit,have,lack等。

四、注意被动语态结构的一般疑问句、否定句和特殊疑问句：
