辨析：other,theother,another,others与theothers

other

“别的，其他的”，可以修饰单数或复数名词

theother

表示两者中的“另一个”，是特指，常用于one...theother...结构中，表示“一个……，另一个……”，theother之后也可接数词或复数名词，特指“其他的”，这时other是形容词。

another

泛指三者或三者以上中的另一个，其后可接单数名词

others

用作代词，泛指“其他的人或物”，与some对比使用时，表示“有的……，有的……”

theothers

特指在一个范围内的“其他的人或物”

相关词组：one…theother只有两个

some…theothers有三个以上

some…others，others…

others=otherpeople/things

theothers=therest剩余的全部

小结：

(1)泛指另一个用another。

一定范围内两人(物)，一个用one，另一个用theother。

一定范围内三者，一个用one，另一个用one(another)，第三个可用theother，athird。

(4)一定范围内，除去一部分人/物，剩余的全部用theothers。
