1.INTRODUCTION

Thismanualcontainsinformationfortheinstallation,operationandtuningofyourVertex

VT26+seriesFUZZYENHANCEDauto-tuningmicroprocessorbasedcontroller.These

controllerscarryatwo-yearfactorywarranty.TheVERTEXmicroprocessorcontrollersare

FUZZYENHANCED“proportional+integral+derivative”(PID)controllersthatcomeina

varietyofstandardDINsizes.Theinputisconfigurableandallowsselectionofinputsbetween

thermocouplesandRTD’s.Youcanalsohave4~20andotherlinearinputsasanoptiontobe

specifiedwhenorderingthecontroller.Whenorderingyourcontrolleryoucanchoosebetween

Relay,SSR,Heat/Cool,4~20mAorotheroutputsignals.Theyhavedualdisplaysthatshow

theinput(measuredtemperature)inthetopdigitaldisplayandtherequiredsetpointinthelower.

Theyallcomestandardwith2alarmrelayoutputs.Thecontrollerboastsacomprehensiverange

ofotherfeaturesthatincludearamp,softstartwithpowerlimiting,auto/manualfunctionand

comesstandardwithtwoconfigurablealarms.Thecontrollerscanbeswitchedtomanualand

canworkas“timebasedratioout-putcontrollers”intheeventofthermocoupleorinputfailures

takingplace.Thereareotheroptionsyoucanchooseincluding“retransmission”ofeitherthePV

orSVorRS485communications.
