TheAgilent1160-seriesfamilyofminiaturepassiveprobesoffers
modularconstructionandreliability.Modularconstructionallows
individualreplacementofprobetips.Improvedcableandstrainrelief
designincreasereliability.
TheAgilent1160-seriesprobesarecompatiblewiththeAutoProbe
Interface,whichcompletelyconfigurestheInfiniiumoscilloscopeforthe
probe.Thesnap-onBNCconnectormakesiteasytoattachtheprobeto
theoscilloscope.Whenusinga50Ωoscilloscope,youmustalsousean
AgilentE2697A1MΩadapter.
AgilentTechnologiesminiatureprobessignificantlyreducetheproblem
ofprobingdenselypopulatedintegratedcircuitcomponentsorthe
characteristicallyminuteconductorsonprintedcircuitboards.These
small,lightweightprobesallowmeasurementsthatwerepreviouslyvery
difficult,whilereducingthehazardofshorting.Theprobebodyfitsin
thehandascomfortablyasapencil.
Theprobeincludesabrowsertipthatwontslipoffthetestpointbeing
probedandshorttosomeadjacentpoint.Thebrowserusesacrownpoint
thatdigsintosolder,andwontslip.
Theseprobesincludeavarietyofaccessoriesforattachingtomany
differentsignalandgroundpoints.Otheroptionalaccessoriesarealso
available.
