1.CreateanewQuartusIIproject.SelectCycloneIIEP2C35F672C6asthetargetchip,whichistheFPGA

chipontheAlteraDE2board.

2.UsetheSOPCBuildertocreateasystemnamedniossystem,whichincludesthefollowingcomponents:

•NiosII/eprocessorwithJTAGDebugModuleLevel1

•On-chipmemory-RAMmodeand32Kbytesinsizewithwidthof32bits

3.FromtheSystemmenu,selectAuto-AssignBaseAddresses.Youshouldnowhavethesystemshown

inFigure1.

4.Generatethesystem,exittheSOPCBuilderandreturntotheQuartusIIsoftware.

6.Assignthepinconnections:
