教材分析

本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语基础模块1》中Unit8PeopleandEvents文化理解（CultureUnderstanding）和小组活动（GroupWork）两个板块。由于本单元文化理解和小组活动有比较大的相关性，因此在本单元的学习中将文化理解和小组活动组合在一起。学生通过文化理解的学习，了解铁路发展的历史。要求学生读图识别高铁系统的五个重要组成元素，通过查阅资料初步整理相关发明的时间、发明人及其国籍等信息，再利用大事年表的形式予以梳理呈现，最后通过补全语篇并制作展板完成任务。

学情分析

教师借助本节课中的文化理解，拓展学生视野，了解更多重要人物和事件，感受发展给生活带来的高速和便利。在小组活动中制作信息展板，开拓学生思维，培养学生的统筹规划和团队合作能力。
