申请信是指写信人想申请某个职位或某个项目而向收信人提出请求的信件。一般常考的内容有申请成为志愿者，加入俱乐部或参加夏令营、留学项目等。申请信是非常正式的信件，所用语言也应该正式，简洁和准确，语气要礼貌。
