Asitturnsout,plasticitemshaveoccupiedacrucialpositioninourdailylives,rangingfromfoodpackages,penstodisposableplasticbags.Despitetheconvenience,ithasalreadycausedahugethreattous.Thecampaign“LessPlastic”isaimedatreducingplasticusesamongschoolstudentsandteachers,thuscultivatingahabitimperceptibly.

Nowthatthesportsmeetingisdrawingnear,Iconsideritasagoldenopportunitytoholdthisactivity,soitissupposedtobeheldontheschoolsportsdayontheplayground.Itwillincludeencouragingstudentstohelpoutwiththetiniestthingssuchassortingtheplasticgarbageintotherightcategory.Inaddition,weplantoinvitesomevolunteerstodesignpostersondailygreentips.Forinstance,itiswidelyrecommendedthateachstudentandteachercarryreusablebagswhenshopping.

Givenourlimitations,wehopethatyoucanprovideuswithmuchsupport.Althoughthisactivityisonlyheldduringthesportsmeeting,weexpectthatyoucanarrangesomedisplayboardsinadvance.Besides,fundsareurgentlyneededtopurchasedisplayboards,leafletsandothernecessaryitems.Inaddition,sinceplasticreductionisalong-termeffort,wemayaswellpushtheinitiativeabitfurtherbysettingupanexcellentplasticreductioncompetitionamongclassesmonthly,whichwillcertainlytriggerourenthusiasm.

Inanutshell,wesincerelyhopetobringgreenvitalitytotheearththroughthiscampaign.Afterall,plasticreductioniscloselyrelatedtoeveryone.
