连词的用法

(1)and的用法

①表示“和”，连接两个并列成分，在否定句中一般用or。

Todayis so warm and bright.

今天温暖而晴朗。

②表示“然后”。用于连接两句有时间上先后的句子。

She washed the dishes and dried them. 

她洗了盘子，然后晾干了它们。

(2)but的用法

表转折，意为“但是，可是，而，却”，不能与although/though

连用。

because意为“因为”，引导原因状语从句，与so不能同时使用。
